Mr. Man’s First Beach Vacay

There have been many firsts for Mr. Man this year. First B-day, first brunch, first bite of sushi, his first Indian wedding, first ice cream/snowcone, first MD State Fair, first Shake Shack burger, first dim sum, his first swim lesson, first authentic tacos at Highlandtown and now his first beach vacay at Rehoboth.

On our first day, we got a late lunch at our favorite Mexican place in Rehoboth called Dos Locos.

On our second day, we decided it was little chilly for the beach so took a short drive north to visit Lewes, DE. But before that it was necessary to get our mandatory order of Boardwalk fries. Lewes is the most charming little town close to the hustle and bustle of Rehoboth Beach but so far away. As we waited for our table at a great little breakfast/lunch place called Nectar Cafe and Juice Bar, Kate and I talked about if we ever wanted to buy a beach place it would be here. After a yummy lunch, we had homemade ice cream at King’s and visited the one of oldest churches in America. I’d say a good day indeed.

Two down and five more days to go. We are going to hit the beach today. I plan to take many pictures of Mr. Man chasing after waves, seagulls, and whatever he sees worth chasing.
